A week of force
and endurance.

Seven points on the ice. Twenty-five rounds in the ring. Lasse Petre and Rube Ferns take the third weekly honours as ASN’s fourth regular edition goes to press.

Sixty-eight completed results across five sports fill this week’s sporting book: British Columbia’s twelve-goal storm, two perfect XHL clubs, Fury comebacks, a Montreal duel and twenty-eight Saturday football matches.

21 XHL finals

The week’s biggest roar

British Columbia beats Atlanta 12–1 on January 17, scoring six times in the middle period. Lasse Petre records three goals and three assists; Lars-Gunnar Oberg scores four. All twelve Grizzlies goals carry the ordinary one-point value.

Petre adds an assist in Sunday’s 5–3 win over Hartford. British Columbia closes the week 5–1 and Petre finishes alone atop the weekly XHL points column with seven. Michal Kasparik supplies four goals and two assists for Saskatchewan, one point behind.

Sunshine State wins 4–3 at Memphis despite a Phillippe Morphis hat trick. The physical goals finish 3–3; the Barracudas’ two-point goal supplies the difference. Morphis’s three goals remain three player points.

Cleveland and Milwaukee keep clean records

Cleveland (6–0) and Milwaukee (6–0) remain perfect. The Ironclads shut out Kansas City 4–0 and win 5–2 at Southern California. The Forge beat Indianapolis 6–2 and Toronto 3–1.

Gavin McKenna scores twice, both double-value goals, in Baltimore’s 5–4 win at Phoenix. Those two goals supply four scoring points. Artemi Panarin records two goals and an assist, including one two-point goal, in New Orleans’ 5–2 win over Atlanta.

XHL player points include the extra point on double-value goals. Pregame targets remain separate; a deciding team award never becomes a player goal. Full XHL standings and archive →

The last quarter refuses to behave

Gulf Coast (3–0) trails 27–18 after three quarters, then scores 27 in the fourth to win 45–33 at Pacific (1–2). Bryant #19 supplies the named fourth-quarter touchdown; seven successful three-point conversion scores follow. Fuller #14 has two touchdowns and 33 named field spaces for Pacific.

New York (3–0) trails Houston 15–3 at halftime, then wins 39–15 with thirty unanswered fourth-quarter points. Simoneaux #71 receives the named defensive touchdown and sack credit. The Nukes’ unnamed offensive scores remain team credits.

The unbeaten five are Gulf Coast, Nashville, New York, Phoenix and Seattle, all 3–0. Seattle beats High Country 17–9; Nashville defeats Kansas City 12–3; Phoenix beats Southern California 36–9.

Glory ends the Superheroes’ perfect start

Lone Star beats San Francisco 24–12 to leave both clubs 2–1. Spears #3 receives two offensive touchdowns and three conversion points. Hull #90 receives the fourth-quarter defensive touchdown, two sacks and a takeaway.

Atlanta edges Philadelphia 18–17 after a seventeen-point deficit. Gotham scores 54 against Washington’s 15; Chicago and New Orleans draw 18–18. Atlantic and Minnesota claim their first victories, and New England shuts out Boston 15–0.

All 45 season finals have complete scorebooks. Six five-team division tables now organise the standings; the existing top-six-per-conference playoff qualification remains. Movement is in Fury field spaces. Individual scoring requires a named play; other points stay with the team.

Morton wins 6–0 against Linthouse, with four goals assigned to the match-only Oswald centre-forward observation. That unresolved observation remains separate from a verified historical named career. Motherwell beats Hamilton 3–2 despite two goals from Daniel McDonald.

Scottish First Division, Second Division, East of Scotland and Inter-City records remain separate. English team records include their historical opening balances; those balances do not add player goals. English and Inter-City roundup → · Scottish league roundup →
