Four division races
Five clubs per division, within the existing East and West conferences. W includes all wins; SOW is the subset decided by the pregame tiebreak. L counts regulation losses and SOL counts tiebreak losses. Two standings points for a win, one for a tiebreak loss.
Ranked by standings points, scoring-point difference, then team name. The 30-game conference and rivalry schedule remains in place.
Player statistics
G counts physical goals; player PTS is G + two-point G + A. A regular goal earns one player point; a two-point goal earns two. Each assist earns one point. Pregame shootout attempts are excluded.

Only players credited with a goal or assist in a published official game appear. These are XHL season records, separate from historical Hockey.
Team statistics
SF / SA are final team scoring points, including a team-only pregame tiebreak point when used. GF / GA count physical goals. A two-point goal adds one to GF and two to SF.

Season One · January 2–April 11
Each team plays 18 conference games, ten interconference games and two extra rivalry games: 30 total, with 15 at home and 15 away. Every team meets all 19 opponents. Teams get at least one night off between games, and never have more than three home or away games in a row.

Meet the league
Four five-team divisions within two geographic conferences, with paired rivals receiving two extra meetings. Each club keeps its 24 printed XHL players and adds its drafted free agents.
The XHL rules
Hockey Blast Full is the base. The chosen XHL additions are configured below; Express procedures are excluded.
Two-point goals
Use the published choice variant: a solo breakaway, an even-strength penalty opportunity, or a STAR/SKILL long-range chance can be played for two points. Each follows its own Full-play procedure.
Long-range attempts require the decider check. A successful decider continues the normal PLAY shot; it does not award an automatic goal.
A two-point goal counts as one scorer goal, two player points and two team scoring points.
Pregame shootout
Select at least three different dressed shooters per team and rotate through the entire order before returning to shooter #1. The visitor shoots first; home shooters may use outlined SHOT stars. After each paired round, one score and one miss ends the contest immediately. Three rounds are not mandatory.
If regulation ends level, the pregame winner receives one team-only tiebreak point in the final: a 3–3 regulation tie is reported as 4–3. That point adds no player goal, assist, shot, save or goalie goal allowed.
STAR momentum
Winning a STAR check on ZOOM or ICE BLAST grants momentum, following normal momentum handling.
Goalies stay in
No XHL goalie-removal rules for majors or fights. Ordinary Hockey Blast Full major and fighting penalties remain in effect.
Full rule configuration and standings convention
Season One uses two standings points for any win, one for a shootout-decided loss, and zero for a regulation loss. This is an ASN league convention.
Read the detailed rule configuration. Implemented in the private Game Desk and Publisher.
