ELYRIA, OHIO — Equine Wonder takes the AGC Opening Stakes, a prelaunch demonstration, excluded from Season One records. Millionaire Janitor, partnered by JP Barajas, is runner-up; Angel Campos brings Javelin home third. All eight entrants finish, with no disqualifications or non-finishers.
The race is a standalone opening stakes at the fictional Elyria Downs in the real city of Elyria, Ohio. It is not the Cascade Derby and carries no Triple Crown leg credit.
